The Department has launched a consultation on Quality Markers for End of Life Care (EoLC), as promised in EoLC strategy. This has been developed with help from the SHA pathway chairs for NHS Next Stage Review, who idenfitied the need for a national approach in order to raise the quality of care for people at the end of life.
